Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Editor's note: Missing from this display is the photographer running away faster than Speedy Gonzales after that big brown duck started chasing her down.

Natchez 2007

I have never been to Natchez, Mississippi before this past weekend. Unfortunately, it was only one day, but luckily I had AMAZING company. (Love me some Spiehlers...) We specifically went to check out The Natchez Trace where we made stops at Ruins of Windsor and the Ghost Town of Rodney. Here are a few highlights from the trip:

This is just a selection, people. So if you want to see more, AKA the whole set, just go to my Flickr page.

Sugar High!

Gotta love a Starbucks Grande Java Chip Frappucino in the blood system. Craziness will ensue...especially when you throw a photo manipulating program like Photo Booth into the mix. Presenting, fun with Photo Booth!!

My Jay Leno impression:

I say Princess Leia on steroids, Stacey says Frida.

This is a representation of why you should not sleep with your brother or sister:

No, I didn't Forget...

...that I have this blog. Though I do forget to keep my camera with me. Now, as y'all patiently wait for something interesting to pop up on here, satisfy that patience with some pics of the most adorable little fellow I'm proud to know: Ace.

Not Even a Small Taste

This is one of my favorite "signs" on Magazine Street (New Orleans). Unfortunately, the picture does the real thing not much justice. (So much more colorful in person.)

Not even a taste...

I love New Orleans like you wouldn't beleive. I haven't been able to enjoy it that much due to that little ol' hurricane named Katrina. It was hard to resist not going down to the French Quarter, even though it was only for a couple of hours, and even though I had school! New Orleans. Proud to call it home.

The following two pics are of the flea market. It's practically a ghost town due to the lack of business. Though I'm happy to report that this sight will not be seen on the weekends when the vendors (and the customers) come on out to play.
