A Million Dollar Question

Situation: You learned the joyous news today that a co-worker has finally moved on..to another company. It was great for the co-worker , since he/she was miserable due to many factors that effected his/her job. The position he/she held was a position that you wouldn't mind having. You really dislike your current one with the company, but while you wanted to move up in the compnay, you feared that you would not be given the chance due to a good performance at your job, which only needs one to perform. Heck, let's say you're more than good, you're pretty darn good at your job and you are 99.99999% certain that you would not be "let go." You're pretty darn sure that most people in the company knew this, which wasn't a bad (or good) thing. Just a fact.

The day ends and you head home to play on the internet, just like any working Joe. While browsing through a popular free classified listing, you come upon quite a, stunning, discovery for a job listing for a position that seemed very much to be yours.

Now, due to the astounding evidence that this was your position (your position title, your job responsibilties, your job city location, and, oh yea, your boss's email for inquiries), how would you react to seeing your job up for grabs?

Be cool around work, but start updating your resume.

That blows big ol' chunks.
